Carob chips are a great substitute for chocolate or cocoa powder in cakes, cookies and candy. They're often used and easily substituted for chocolate chips in cookies and muffins because they are so similar in taste to chocolate. Carob chips are naturally delicious! The ingredients are as follows: sugar, partially hydrogenated palm kernel oil, carob powder, sorbitan monostearate (an emulsifier), soy lecithin (an emulsifier). This is a “pet safe” alternative to chocolate. Bulk candy comes 25 pounds per case. Kosher Parve.
